Kozmic Cones

The food is always ono at Kozmic Cones. The shrimp and chicken snack plates are just enough to satisfy the smaller appetite. My daughter grew up on the snack plates and since visiting from the mainland she just had to get her favorite things. Still the same consistent goodness she knew when she was growing up in Hilo. Love love love their Milkshakes!!! My dad got me addicted to these Extra Thick Mouthwatering Milkshakes. And I have carried that tradition on to my own son. While dad loved his Vanilla, I embraced the Pineapple, and my son just loves the Blueberry!! I like ordering their Breakfast Sandwiches too, yummmmm! No matter your flavor choice and believe me, they have a lot to choose from. You will not be disappointed if you order one of their Milkshakes. Remember, order them Extra Thick for and Old Fashioned delight!!

Edit: If you are looking for healthy drive through options they offer a grilled chicken plate (usually can sub a side for a small green salad) or a grilled chicken salad add crispy bacon. Also love the breakfast bento. Popular and usually has a long line whenever it is open because it has a great diverse menu with lots of local favorite dishes. I got the breaded Ahi special and it came with rice and macaroni salad. It was a large portion and tasted good. We tried the turkey bacon wrap and it was super affordable and a great healthy option that I highly recommend! They do have a peanut allergy warning on their window stating they do have peanuts in some of their items. Most diverse drive through menu in Hilo I would say!

This place is really great for a little fast food restaurant. I couldn't believe the speed of service was so quick. I'm guessing most of the food needs to be pre-made. It was really good in my opinion. Better and healthier than McDonald's. The fries were really good too I couldn't stop eating them and they weren't even for me. Highly recommend for a quick meal similar to a fast food experience but for local people.

NUTTY CONES!!! Gotta try the "nutty cone" vanilla soft serve in a cone topped with macadamia nuts finely chopped You can get cones in a small or large size. The one I have pictured is small. I've heard the chilli here is also tasty. They have a drive through which is very convenient, as well as a walk up - pick up option There is ample parking on site as well.
