Cooper's Ale House

While waiting for my dispatch assignment from my company. I figured to stop into the restaurant that is right next to the hotel that I stayed at which im not used to going to a sit down resturant by myself far the atmosphere is awesome. I ordered grilled Ruben which came with fries and it was awesome. The waitress was great. I recommend stopping here . Heck for those drivers taking a 34 HR restart this is a good place to be and so convenient and prices very reasonable..

Good bar food, good drinks, reasonable prices. Note to those staying at the hotel: this place seems like a hangout for locals who like to be a little loud, so just know that going in. Apparently it can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Had a little trouble getting service initially, but once they noticed us, service was great. The patty melt with mac n cheese was really good! Different drink specials every day was nice too.

The food is good but the service not so much. You have to seat yourself and good luck with a server actually serving you. It has a nice outside area but the furniture is out dated and dirty I don’t think the seat cushions have ever been cleaned. If you’re looking for a hood spot to get a quick bite to eat then this is the place…if you’re looking for a nice spot with good ambiance I wouldn’t waste my time.

The atmosphere has gotten a lot better now they have male servers and an older crowd. The chicken wings are fried so hard it's like jerky dipped in a sauce. They now charge gratuity after a certain time if you order food. Ridiculous surcharge. They have a DJ that is really nice (DJ RnB). It's nice not having to hear constant rap. It's old and new music. Tonight they have karaoke and it's actually fun. My server Thomas was very attentive and kind. Nice change getting the other servers. Oh the bang bang shrimp is everything! *They have door dash for deliveries as well*

Sign states to seat yourself, so our party of two chose a table just a few feet from the bar. Upon entering we were hopeful for quick service, as there were very few patrons. Fifteen minutes go by with no acknowledgement of any kind from wait staff. We noticed another table seemingly being ignored as well so we decided to lighten the burden of the wait staff and go elsewhere.

The manager Chris is the most rudest, misogynistic, unprofessional person I have ever met. The food is extremely over priced for the type of food they serve. I was expected to pay over $1 per shrimp for an order of only 8 shrimp ($11). Red lobster and fine dinning doesn't do this. The prices are unfair, deceptive and should be reported to the BBB. the owners of this establishment should seriously reprimand him for how aggressive he became when he violently snatched items off my guest and I table. Other customers gawk in disbelief. I have never felt more unsafe in any establishment in all my years. When I asked who is over him he became smug and told me no one was higher than him and then had me remove.
