Very nice environment. Food was great. I had a perfectly cooked steak and shared an appetizer. Portions are definitely worth the price. Drinks are good and well priced but there is a lack of craft beer on draft. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall a nice place to enjoy dinner.

This restaurant has been revamped with a new chef & a menu that welcomes even the most sophisticated of palates...I have been here on several occasions for both lunch & dinner, and have yet to be disappointed. Darrius, the chef, brings a unique concept to the area with amazing dishes that are appealing taste-wise & aesthetically. Janelle, the manager, has a team that is extremely pleasant to deal with and whose staff clearly value the customer experience. Not only is the food good & the atmosphere welcoming, their cocktails have been top notch thus far. I would recommend this place any day of the week, and it is a great venue to host events. LaRue will soon be a staple of the downtown Greensboro food scene!

This is an absolutely amazing place to get food you can't get anywhere else in Greensboro. International food made with progressive French methods in mind and all southern ingredients, created by a fantastic duo of chefs. Cocktails are second to none with four even on draft. Go for lunch, dinner, late night, and one of the best brunch menus in the area. You will always get your money's worth here! Edit 11/27/2018 - the management here has changed. The chefs, bartenders, everyone that made this place incredible is gone. The menu is a mess, and even the sushi is overpriced and subpar. Avoid this place now. It no longer deserves the LaRue name.

Great food, stiff (while still tasty) drinks and a nice rooftop setting.

I NEVER leave bad reviews! Unfortunately I have to share my experience at this place. It was the worst!! They accepted our reservation for a party of 20 for my nieces graduation (Knowing they could not accommodate a party that size). They ended up sitting the entire party at three different round tables where we could not communicate with each other without being loud and talking over one another. the waitress came to our table and took our orders. We noticed that she did not take everyone's order at the same time. When questioned about the way she was taking orders, she explained that they didn't put all the orders in at once because they did not want to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Needless to say we got in at 1:15 p.m. and did not leave out until 4:15. At that time, part of our party still had not received their ticket to pay for their food. We all ate at different times. We only stayed because it was graduation day and all of the other restaurants were booked. Never again..... Poor service and the manager never came and apologized or explained anything to us! Oh and they charged us all a 20% gratuity yet we were not seated together and couldn't eat together because of the way they staggered our meals!

Went for a girls night and it was our first time here. The food was wonderful, wine selection was great, and the staff were very friendly. We went on a slow dinner night (Tuesday) and the night of a new menu release. The head chef and head bartender both came out to talk with us. I had to give Chef a hug because that lemon meringue pie, oh words just won't do but it testee just like Granny's! I wish they had a better location for parking. That is my only complaint.
