Country Pride

Today Father's Day, we were very excited to our dinner to celebrate, when we were served by a waitress Kendra, who took everything to assist us, bring us drinks, had to ask for the refills, did not bring us additional cutlery and napkins until we asked It took the food and the soup and salad buffet there was almost nothing to be served because the food vats were almost empty. In the hour and a half we were there we did not see anyone filling them, nor checking ... The service was very slow for a day that many families, we went to dinner with family and needed a good service ... I regret having chosen them for a day like today ... Managers are more aware of these things that can ruin a good restaurant and instruct their employees to be better with customers ...

Well on a normal day you normally get good service..However today 3 Sep 2019. I guess because of Hurricane Dorian we walked by the manager and a waitress. We sat at a table, waiting and waiting. The manager took a menu to a table and the waitress took a menu to a table. Waited a tad longer still not acknowledged. Walked pasted them on the way out still NO GREETING!!! 😥😫 Today 16 Sep 2019, We decided to give Country Pride another try. No Hurricane headed to Baldwin..Glad we did the ladies that are normally our servers where working. Kathleen & Mandy were working. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. Mandy working the counter and Kathleen the floor. Kathleen brought us our drink order and took our food order and in her cheerful manner told us to enjoy the salad bar. The soup and salad bar was fully stocked and all the food was great as normal. The manager even came by our table and spoke briefly. We will be back!!!😁😁

Country Pride, people, are top notch. Chris the cook came out and was asking each dinner how the food was and showed pride in his job. Waitress was bouncing off the wall and was so darn friendly, yet I forgot to get her name (Sorry). She kept asking and obviously caring about our meals and you never had to ask for more drink. She was equally friendly with each and every customer. It's a very rare to see this in a business. Note: The morning crew in the store could sure use the water that the Country Pride evening staff is drinking. ;-)
