El Tropico

This was my first time here, and it went perfect. The lady who helped me was so nice. She could tell it was my first time, so I asked her what was one of her favorite things to make. It was a concoction of Strawberries, cream, granola, and coconut. It was so delicious! I only got a small, but next time I'll make sure to get a large. I also got a frozen banana that's been does in chocolate with pecans all over. It was also delicious, but the winner of the night was the strawberry treat. Definitely recommend this once to try out!!!

Last time I was here, I saw an employee pour the freshly made agua fresca from a plastic bucket used in construction. Many people don't care what they put in their bodies, but I for one find it gross. These buckets are not PBA free. They are made specifically for construction use, which means the plastic is much more toxic than the plastic or Styrofoam cups, and these toxins are absorbed in what you are consuming. It may taste good, but not worth my health.

Delicioso! These places are like gems! Hard to find the more down north you travel 😋 my Dorinachos were perfect! My husband had elote chorreado it was perfect also. The kiddos had ice cream and a paleta. Prices are fair. Place is clean but no public bathrooms. It’s a nice place to stop by and have a fulfilling/ satisfying snack. You won’t be disappointed in the variety of Mexican flavors they offer! Yum yum yum!
