Sakura Sushi Express

Keep this place in business. They are EXCELLENT. You know how our economy has impacted restaurants? That means you need to come to Sakura Sushi Express and try just one thing. After that, you'll go to this restaurant again and again. Why would people buy sushi at a grocery store when you can get AWESOME delicious sushi prepared by a staff that only wants to make your taste buds explode with happiness. Really now. I've had my comments seen by thousands and thousands, I know what I'm talking about. Sakura reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii. If you've never tried sushi before, THIS IS THE PLACE to see what people are talking about. See what you've been missing. Get a taste and close your eyes, imagine you're in Hawaii, or Japan, or Korea. You'll want more and more. On a scale of 1-5 stars, this place is a 10. I've seen a few "negative people" complaining about whether or not the tuna or salmon is fresh. FYI we live in (the middle of the United States) Colorado where Cherry Creek Reservoir doesn't have much in regards to providing sushi freshness.

We came in from out of town and wanted to try the food here. There was a guy he was not welcoming at all actually made me want to walk out but my kids love sushi. I rate it a 4 because our family love the sushi the young lady made but the guy energy will have you feel some type of way. Recommendation for the guy you should really pick up better customer service it will go a long way here especially for tipping.

I base my sushi experience on the salmon. Hence the one star review. Seen another saying the fish is fresh, thats a lie. Salmon was warm and started to have a slim film to it. For those of you who don't know what that means, it is an indication that the fish is about to go bad. We were the only ones there and service was slow. Zero greeting or hellos. Door on a 70° day was wide open. Flies where coming and going landing on our food. Avoid this place at all cost.

I’m changing my review to something more favorable after my second experience there. It’s express sushi and a lot of it is crab filler. So, it’s close, fast and inexpensive. They do have a variety on the menu and the actual fish we did have was fresh. Family of 6, this fills the “let’s get sushi tonight” need.
