My favourite place to enjoy delicious, crafted to perfection, lemon pies, coconut pies, sweet lobsters tails, The best fluffy sweet merengue I have tasted I live in Colorado and once or twice I year I come to eire to visit my mom in law I take several trips to this bakery just to enjoy the freshly made merengue pies and bakes My husband loves the pepperoni bread and pepperoni rolls

My mom is famous for her pies, especially her rhubarb pies with meringue. But it was too tall an order to ask her to make 6 of them for my niece's bridal shower, so when I Googled "rhubarb pies Erie" and Art's Bakery showed up, I was so excited! I called and spoke with Gordon, the owner; he couldn't have been nicer. When I asked if it was possible to add meringue, he said he'd only done meringue on a couple of other types of pies but not rhubarb...however, he was up for the challenge and was happy to try it out for the first time for my order. My niece and everyone at her bridal shower were so excited to see (and devour!) the pies, which were as delicious as they were pretty, with mountains of fluffy meringue atop perfectly-sweetened, tender chunks of rhubarb in a silky custard, with a light, flaky crust baked to perfection. What a win!! Thank you Gordon (and your friendly staff, who helped us check out quickly even though they were very busy)! You and your bakers knocked this order over the fences and I can't wait for an opportunity to come back and try some of the other delicious items in your bakery. Erie is one lucky town to have Art's Bakery!

The staff is kind and helpful! Amazing displays of the freshest bakery and deli items that tempt you to want one of everything! Take a pie home for your guests and you won't be disappointed..and don't forget a few canolli to eat on the way there! (I would have taken a picture but everything got eaten too fast!)

First time customer to Art's bakery. You are greeted by the smell of fresh baked bread as it wafts through the air and friendly staff greets you. This bakery is the quintasential definition of a great bakery! Large selection of pastries, baked goods, local meats, cheeses, and dairy products. This will be a place I will surely frequent as often as possible in the years to come!

Bad experience today.. and I usually love this place! Gentleman behind counter was rude, impatient, interrupted me and then spoke to a coworker (about me) as if I wasn't there. I understand that you don't make the type of cake I was asking for (no biggie), but please don't be rude. Overall, Art's is still awesome!
