Papa Johns Pizza

Consistent. A relief to have decent prices for good pizza. Also, nostalgic of my childhood. I still love a lot of local pizza, but it's tough to always afford it. Also, the staff here is nice. Once I had the wrong pizza in the box and they fixed it fast. They seemed genuinely concerned, but I assured them I could wait and at least they checked it with me there so we could catch it.

Their website is up to date (Opened according to their website posted schedule). We got into Asheville late on a Thursday night & scrambled to look for a descent opened restaurant, None were opened. But papa John’s on Merrimon came to the rescue & they delivered to our hotel on Tunnel Rd (4.8 miles). The person who took our order on 9/15/2022 @10:36 pm was so patient & helpful especially I did not have a menu accessible. We were told delivery would be 45 - 55 mins, but the pizza was delivered in 37 mins, the pizza toppings were so fresh, the crust was perfect & it was the best papa John pizza, not because we were hungry, but we’ve ordered from other papa John’s, & this one “is” by far the best! Thank you guys for accommodating us & going above & beyond. We greatly appreciate your service. You rock! I would like to add to all those reading this; when calling Papa John’s select 5 @ the prompt, this will get you to the local establishment. Otherwise you will get a call center who is not even in the country (USofA), & don’t bother with the app. If you reach the call center or use the app; “PLEASE” don’t bark at the local establishment for the error…. because the local guys are not the root cause of the problem.

My coworkers and I order pizza from here when we are too busy to leave work or to really stop for a true break. The staff is always helpful with helping us find specials and offers that meet our needs as a large group. They are typically fast with deliveries but sometimes can take up to an hour on days that they are slammed. All the drivers we have had are courteous and kind.
