Taste Of Tandoor

We have been going here for many years, we are recognized by the staff for getting 4-5 orders of the butter chicken with garlic naan 🫓 Yum! Everyone here is always super kind to my husband and kids when they come pick up the food! We have tried other things on the menu as well but my kids love the butter chicken so we stick to it!

My husband and I have been patrons of Taste of Tandoor for many many years, and they graciously catered our wedding and we could not have been happier. The price point was more than fair, and their extensive Indian menu had options for everyone that attended, even those with dietary restrictions. Our guests were absolutely THRILLED with everything, and we had delicious leftovers that we enjoyed after the wedding as well. If we could give 10 stars we would! I would 10000% recommend Taste of Tandoor to cater your next event!

Visited Taste Of Tandoor with a group of friends. They offer an impressive variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and take great care to cater to everyone's dietary preferences, making it an ideal place for groups with diverse tastes. We all were pretty happy with what we ordered. Will definitely be visiting again.

Taste of Tandoor is my go-to Indian place. Although it’s not as good as some places in Old Town Alexandria like Diya Indian Cuisine. This place is spot on with most everything. You can’t go wrong with their chicken curry or tikka. I’ve had everything from here and it’s always good. I’ve never actually eaten in the restaurant but I’ve gotten to go orders and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ll continue to order from here because it’s the best in town.

Food is always fresh and authentic ( pssstt... couple of places in the vicinity parading as " Indian" are simply kabob places selling the most UN-Indian food ever ). Restaurant is clean and smells delicious. Staff and management always kind, attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge . What more does one want while dining out love love love ❤️

I came here for lunch on a Sunday. They had lunch specials for the weekend. I did not expect the food to be as absolutely amazing as it was. The food was hot, the service was fast and the price was WAY below what I would have expected for food of this quality. I will definitely be returning! 10/10!

The food can be a lot better. I honestly can't call it a good representative of Indian cuisine. The quality is definitely at par with the prices so no complains there. Servelice was also good. We were serviced by multiple servers and they were all attentive, courteous and helpful. When they let bysy, they can easily be overwhelmed though. The atmosphere and ambiance is above expectation for the location. I would like some Indian tunes and music playing in the background.
