Surprisingly decent Chinese food, especially for being in Walnut Creek. The lunch portion was huge. The food seemed pretty high quality - was not oily and didn’t feel heavy in my stomach. I am sensitive to MSG and there was definite none used in prepping my food. They only have like 4 tables, so it may be more of a takeout joint.

I had ordered takeout from here once before, and they were quick and the food was good. Today, I ordered something I was looking forward to having - pan fried noodles. I distinctly remembered saying it a few times - because THAT was what I wanted more than anything else I order and I was ordering 2 orders of it - and my family, who heard me order, also heard me ask for pan fried noodles. When I picked up my order and brought it home, I got regular chow mein. I called back to let them know and that I could bring back the order (they couldn't because of COVID, which is understandable) and the lady was really aggressive about the whole situation, telling me that it was essentially my fault, there was no way she could make a mistake, she's worked there for many years, etc. She wasn't going to even consider it hcould possibly be her fault.. The whole situation really soured my experience with them. Decent food but staff can be very rude.
