Great atmosphere. Great food. A little pricey. Wait-staff plays favorites and did not listen to the fine points when I ordered. But, very nice. Very yummy. Very fresh.

I love this restaurant. They are extremely kind and generous. There deliveries and pick ups are fast and Efficient. They never forget there returning customers. There foods is excellent. My favorite is the chicken and eggplant. Must try.

Omg. The staff is so friendly food is fast place has private large parking lot. Dark reds and wood trimming ,owner told us new bigger outdoor patio coming for summer. Large dining area big tables for families Private room for parties food is Good also..

We went in for lunch & ordered Pork & Crab dumplings, Cumin Lamb, A choy ,Egg fried rice & Sweet & Sour pork. Cumin lamb was beyond delicious.. ditto for other dishes & wow, service here was outstanding as well as happy wallet. Just 10 minutes walk from Apple Store.

I live walking distance from Peony Gardens, and it takes an effort not to have takeout several times a month. It's a LOT better than I was expecting, having somewhat recently moved to Walnut Creek. May not quite be on the scale of downtown SF's Chinatown, but *damned* good.

Many years ago, we used to work in the area and Peony's was one of our favorite places to eat. We had our holiday parties here and work luncheons catered by them.
When we found out that our kids will be having a soccer game in WC, we immediately thought of Peony's!
We've forgotten how delicious the food is here! The BBQ pork chow mein was simple but had so much flavor. The fried szechuan chicken was spicy but not overly powering where you can't taste the flavor. Also, the kung pao prawns had a good ratio of prawns vs crunchy vegetables.
It wasn't too busy, we arrived around noon on a Sunday. The large dining area was being used and 3 of the booths had customers. The table service was quick and attentive.
