Burger King

We always have such a fun time going through the drive-thru at the Burger King in Lake Zurich. We even got crowned today!! Here is a photo of a beautiful woman inside and out (I apologize for not knowing her name, I will ask next time). She always takes such good care of us and we leave with a smile on our face every time. She even remembers my husband's very specific order and finishes it before I can. Thank you!!

This is rated against other fast food restaurants. Usually the whopper is good and I like it more when I get it to go and work on it more in my own special pan. I spray the pan once to keep it from sticking, and prevent it from burning. Then I make it sizzle, and smoke it, for a short time and wipe the oil out more as it cooks more. I cannot use a super non-stick pan because when the whopper is at an angle, it slides like it is on air with the grease pool and back into it, and there is more of a chance to burn myself. The pan I use is an older pan where all of the non stick coating has worn off. The chicken and fries is why I have to give 4 stars. They cannot be hot and fresh every time, but there is some chance to reheat something that is not hot. Any gas stove pan will work to recover fries, or Nuwave air induction electric oven, and no more oil nor spray is necessary. Do not try to recover luke warm crispy chicken in a pan. The flavor will burn off. Use an oven and bake or broil mode for a short time. BK has made some changes to breaded chicken providers over the years. They have not all been equally as good. I liked the one before the Ch'King came out. Things taste better when they have not been sitting out for too long. If you ever get BK hot french fries, they are delicious. McDonald's fries probably has more fat oil. BK has larger size fries, more potato with crust, less oil per square centimeter. Burger King used to have grilled chicken. Now all they have is breaded fried chicken. If you want drive-through grilled chicken in LZ, you could try Wendy's, Luke's, or Culver's. Whopper taste more like beef steak. When I apply my finishing touch, it tastes like a hamburger that really is above the rest, and super clean too. I am lucky enough to have a kitchen I can use. Chicken nuggets for $1.99 special is a good deal. I just don't want to eat too much deep fried food because it is a health question. I wish I could go to restaurants all the time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but I don't want to end up over-eating. Maybe if I had a big family I could split things up more. It's not really possible to share meals with those who I currently live with. Thank you.

I'd like to tip my hat to the Lake Zurich BK and the franchise owner. Sometimes I need a classic chicken sandwich for breakfast and they always accommodate regardless of the fact that the classic chicken sandwich is not on the breakfast menu. They of course warn me, "It might take 5 minutes" to get that delicious chicken patty ready but it's worth it. Sometimes my day doesn't start until I get that item.

Best service ever, the attitude towards the customers is nice. I used to visit at this place. Food is always fresh and yummy, fries were perfect. Not salty or too greasy. Cooked to a crunchy outside but soft inside. No funny taste, so the oil was fresh. I really liked my cheeseburger, it was big enough and very delicious, tasty, and full of flavour. Service was good, Restrooms were clean, Restaurant as a whole was clean. Food was prepared quickly but met consistent standards. Quality Is really good. I would definitely recommend you go here this is my favorite fast food restaurant

Stopped in this store as I was going to have the reissued chicken sandwich. The store is very clean and modern and the staff was very interactive and friendly. The food came out in a quick fashion but overall the sandwich was not what I had before. The cheese was barely melted and it did not taste like it did in the past.

The drive thru staff at this BK is amazing! They are hard workers and and always so nice! I was there once and the lady was by herself with only one cook in the building! This was around noon, so they were slammed! But she was working so hard to get all the food out. I hope they can find some help for them.
