Taco Tuesday. Busy little place. A little short staffed on a rush...but the food was really good. I'll definitely go back and try some other dishes.

A friend and I spent a couple hours catching up and had several beers.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited so far. Delicious food. They have the best salsa I have ever had. It was chunky, bit tangy and mix with spices. Amazing experience. Service was great too. Reasonable rates.

Still one of my top 3 Mexican food joints around. Although prices are up, prices are up on everything nowadays. Some things I noticed.
1. When they make shrimp anything, instead of keeping the shrimp whole, they smash the shrimp, like a smash burger, then rough dice it. Keep it whole. It looks and tastes better. Just a heads up, you can ask for them to keep the shrimp whole, and they will.
2. The size of the flour quesadillas has shrunk significantly. Corn quesadillas are the same, but the flour tortillas have gotten smaller and more money. Also, let the quesadillas cook a little longer. The crispier the better.
3. I want more seasoning on their steak. The asada, Lomo and Angus needs more seasoning. Whenever I get these items, I also ask for limes because the lime juice adds a lot of flavor, along with the taco sauce, salt and pepper. And please, please, please, make sure to not overcook the Lomo.
Other than that, the place will always be my #1 local space.

Tacos El Norte is one of my family's favorite local taco places. They have an excellent selection of food and always deliver great quality. My personal favorite item to get is a taco dinner with 3 tacos and beans and rice, and every time I got the food is top notch quality and fairly priced. Highly recommend!
