Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Went to eat dinner here. I must say the croissants are delicious only had one. My food was delicious ordered the platter with spinach dip. Customer service could have been better once inside the establishment had to wait 5 minutes before being seated. Didn't feel like I was treated like the other patrons. I won't be going back to sit in & eat. When I have a taste for some Spinach dip I will Door Dash.

The chicken Alfredo pasta was really good and was very filling. The Monte Cristo was absolutely divine. The raspberry jam was amazing and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t even like raspberries. I was a little unsure about the sand which being deep fried and although the taste/texture was different, it was amazing.

There was a wait but we just sat at bar so we didn't have to wait. Nice atmosphere, friendly waitress/bartender. Food was hot and served well. I had steak and shrimp. My business associate had salmon. The green beans were very good as were the carrots. Steak cooked the way I like it. And shrimp wasn't over cooked. I would recommend.

I used to love Cheddar’s years ago, but either the quality has dropped or I’ve outgrown this place. I barely tasted the honey butter on the croissants. This is something I’ve noticed at other locations as well. There were only two in our party and we were placed in the bar area. The vibe seemed off, so maybe that took away from the experience as well. The frozen Margarita was huge for the price so I should have known it wouldn’t have tasted like much. I had a Caesar salad and the monte cristo. There was way too much meat in it, so I couldn’t taste the cheese or the battered crust on the outside. The accompanying jam was super sweet and overpowered the entire dish. Even though nothing was fantastic about our meal, I like the fact that two people can eat for less than $25 here lol.

When first getting there we had to wait for about five minutes until the hostess came to greet/sit us. After being seated we sat an additional 10 minutes (seem like FOREVER) for our waitress to come take our drink orders. After hitting the “call server button” she finally came! It seems like the menu is getting smaller and smaller. Overall the food was good though.
