Square Bistro

Fun night out - great food - great service - fun setting. A nice bar with a wide variety of IPA’s, wines and mixed drinks. Food menu was broad and portions were very generous! The truffle fries were so yummy! Sushi was a big hit and the salads and soups were amazing. The ribs looked so delicious, and I’m a vegetarian! Servers we’re hustling and they did a great job on a busy night. Reservations recommended - we didn’t have them and were lucky to get a table. It’s a busy place for good reason! It’s a nice location too - on the Main Street in the downtown area. Enjoy!!

This place ALWAYS has amazing food. I wish I would have taken more pictures! They have 2 dining areas upstairs and downstairs. The place is not huge, but I think it's perfect. A great place for dinner or girls night. The wine selection is good, and the glass I had was great! The service was also fantastic. I highly recommend checking it out.

Tried Square Bistro on the recommendation of a friend. We got there shortly after opening and were greeted warmly and enthusiastically. The restaurant looked nice and welcoming and very clean. The food was okay. Tasty, but overpriced and nothing blew me away to the point that I'd go out of my way to make a return visit. Towards the end of our meal, a couple was seated at the table next to us and the server immediately provided them with table bread and homemade compound butter- which we were never offered. I like bread and butter. This made me irritated. I typically don't order irritation for dessert at restaurants. The crab nachos were delicious, but the name "nachos" were misleading. Slapping some crab salad and some chips on a plate do not nachos make. The bouilliabaise was just okay. Lacked some flavor and the croutons were mush when it was put down on the table. Really enjoyed the sushi. That's where I think this place shines.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Wednesday. Was a nice place to go. Staff are not wearing masks and neither are patrons. While browsing the menu, you're provided with some nice bread and a homemade flavored butter of the day. It was pina colada when we were there. Not bad. He had the Cubano with fries and I had the ramen bowl. Both were good and served hot. Service was good. The waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful.

This place is located in an old shopping center in the middle of Chardon square. They have few restaurants and this was a beautiful little gem with amazing architectural features. The Ahi Tuna melted in your mouth. The Beef Stroganoff was so hearty and rich, the Philly Cheese steak sandwich was huge and the meat was tender. The biggest surprise was the Buffalo chicken pierogi appetizer that was a huge hit for everyone at our table-I highly recommend. They also had great service! I highly recommend this place!! It was my very first celebration of my birthday, after 47yrs. My children, best friend and my very special close friend came in from Atl just to put a smile on my face at this very lovely Bistro in Chardon Oh. I loved the atmosphere, staff was so caring, food was AWESOME!!!! the drinks were VERY good as well and very safe an CLEAN!!!!. If you haven't been able to find a small quiet place to relax and enjoy your food an company, this is the place to go. It's a treat, a complete hidden jewel in the community. I will return. Thank you.
