Stopped in for a tea this morning. Was surprised by the nice place. Cozy and comfy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Had a cup of green tea and sat at a table for a while. Noticed the tall bookcases with books. Will have to come back and linger while reading! Didn't get any food this time but the bagels, pastries, and breakfast food looked and smelled good. Nice selection. Even though it was a cool 20F,the interior of the shop was warm. A nice place to pass a cold NEO morning.

Coffee Tour 2022!🤣 Another trip to Chardon this week brought us to Beans. Full disclosure, have been before but only now doing a review because well, they deserve it. Absolutely love this shop, the coffee is always great (and served in mugs! Seriously) and the food is diverse (gluten-free options) and tasty. Today we had a breakfast bagel and a wrap, also shared a chocolate loaf. Everything was awesome. Day Four of this year’s tour and we enjoyed the vibe inside today, it was busy and all kinds of cool interactions were taking place. We will definitely be back.

Walking into this coffee shop, I really liked its vibe-- jazz music playing from a record player, used books for sale, friendly barista. However, I got a gluten free maple donut and an amaretto latte and was disappointed. The donut was so dry and crumbly I didn't finish eating it. The latte tasted watered down and I couldn't taste the flavor at all... I didn't finish it, either. Altogether it was about $8 which, especially for this quality, was over priced. The shop has potential, but misses the mark.

I so wanted to love this place it’s in a quaint location right in downtown Chardon. The building was clean and well kept and they have a decent selection of GF bakery items which was wonderful since my wife if GF. We ordered two Lattes a salad and avocado toast with egg. My salad came out without feta which was forgivable and it happens however I was not informed they were of it by cashier or staff that delivered the food. I went up requesting they cheese and was then informed by kitchen staff they were out. My wife ordered avocado toast with an egg on GF bread. They forgot to add the egg and the bread was not toasted at all anyone that had eaten GF bread knows it was to be toasted. My wife never complains but was upset she only took a couple bites and threw it away. With tip the meal cost us $28. Defiantly not worth it. The Lattes were good however.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I'm from Mentor and I will drive the 15-20 minutes to have breakfast here. The vibe is FANTASTIC. Cute, rustic, chill, and artsy atmosphere. The oatmeal is SUPERB. The various toast dishes are great as well. My dad says he likes the breakfast sandwiches. They are very fresh and not artificial like fast food ones. I have gotten several varying pastries here and they have all been great!! The tea is good too. The employees are nice (especially the one lady that is always working the shop). Best oatmeal ever!!
