I ordered a Cake for my sons birthday a few months ago. I requested it to say “Happy Birthday, Grimslaw,” however it only said happy birthday. That would have been fine, except upon opening the cake box, I was startled, as their were 2 daddy long legs spiders, one dead, one alive. Had to throw out the cake.

Ordered a cake for my nephew's bride to be's shower. Jennifer was so helpful! She was terrific. The cake was exactly what I wanted. Received so any compliments from the guests. I was pleasantly surprised at how moist the cake turned out, since it was naked. I also ordered cookies decorated as a bride's dress. They were so pretty and the flavor was delicious. Lastly, I ordered a heart shaped cookie tarte. It exceeded my expectations! It was beautiful. Can't thank Jennifer and staff enough for helping make the shower a total success! Highly recommended by me!

Johnson’s Bakery overall was fair. We had a tasting with them for our wedding cake, and they we’re really nice and helpful! Ultimately we found a new flavor of cake we liked and never had, and used it for our wedding cake! They had done our design before, so we were confident and the pricing was very reasonable for what we wanted. After the tasting we were told to come back when we made our choice to put the deposit down and give them the detail sheet again. Once we decided with them and went back, we were told we had to have an appointment and couldn’t just hand them the details already discussed - which was disappointing since we had driven an hour already. But we still wanted them as our baker, and made the appointment anyways. We then confirmed everything the week of the wedding, and was really excited! Now our venue was outside, but the cake was put in an air conditioned room to keep cool. When I arrived, the cake was lopsided and tilted. It didn’t look to be as if it got hot, but that the top layer was placed as such and I got frustrated. I was also told by the coordinator that they just dropped it off and left without saying anything about it being there or that it was even lopsided. Kind of disappointed in that situation because we had a lopsided cake for the pictures….but we were told from guests that it was very good - so that’s the one plus.

I would give y’all 100 stars if I could! I got a custom birthday cake this past weekend, it was a white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting, and my GOODNESS was it delicous! Even our friends who aren’t big cake eaters loved it! The Texas wildflower decorations were beautiful as well, I wish I would have taken a picture but I was too excited to eat it! The price point was fair, and they were so easy to order from, we will most definitely be ordering all of our special occasion cakes from Johnson’s! Thank y’all so much!

I have used Johnson’s bakery to do dessert (and sometimes poppers) for four different parties now and each time has been great! I love that you can do orders online and pay on advance, making pick up super easy. Any questions, just email or call! They will also do totally custom items like dairy free cakes and these cupcakes/cookies I got for a Die Hard movie themed party.

Yummy cake, wonderful customer service. We now use Johnson’s to order all of our cakes for birthdays, wedding showers and baby showers for our organization. You can’t beat the taste and quality. Also, ordered the standard lemon cake from the refrigerator and got rave reviews at my son’s birthday. So moist and tasty!
