Excellent breakfast. I had the chicken & waffles. Perfect. The chicken is pounded and perfectly breaded and fried. Syrup and/or white gravy is offered on the side. Egg dishes are large and also very good. It can get busy with a line. Choose eating at the bar. Service is excellent. Rated highly by Texas Monthly. Iced tea is excellent, served in a large Mason jar. Ask for lemon.

Beautiful country place to go eat, small but very nice vibe, food is good, cakes 🍰 are delicious, very crowded on weekends, no to bad in weekdays, The service is a bit slow, but I still like to go often even when I live at Austin! Huge pancakes 🥞 but they aren’t that good, I prefer their delicious slice of cakes!! 😋 I definitely recommend this little town restaurant! Make sure to check their business hours because they close early!!

This place doesn't need another glowing review.... but hey, what the heck. I asked my friend Alessio at Community Gardens for a recommendation... but he was busy getting his new sports bar and restaurant ready for the Super Bowl. So i trusted my foodie spidey sense and just picked this place on its old school country facade. I'll stop here as the food and Lacey and all the staff were beyond awesome. P.s. I've driven by Bastrop at least 500 times in my life and to Lost Pines about 10 times, for the life of me, i don't know how i never drove thru the town. But now, i love it so much from just 2 hours that i want to move here. The breakfast bowl was that good😏

i will never come back here and i rarely say that after one visit somewhere. after waiting 15 minutes to be seated and it’s not worth the money at all you pay $17 a plate for food so bland you’d think your blind grandma made it. no seasoning used on anything and there was multiple sharp bones in my friend pork chops. not to mention half of my pork chop was just a slab of fat they didn’t bother to cut off. the family behind us had 4 kids that were just jumping all over and yelling just no restaurant etiquette at all. not worth the wait or price. i hate to be that kind of person but this truly was one of the most underwhelming experiences

A great breakfast joint! They offer great variety in the morning and have great coffees too. The eggs Benedict is amazingly good and rich. The pancakes are hilariously huge. And the stack of 12 is deadly along with the 1/2 pound of bacon. If your interested in having a good time with good food in the morning in a great atmosphere come here.
