COWS ice cream is excellent. I was not disappointed. It was a super cold day, but the ice cream was so worth it. So flavorful and they have such great flavors to choose from. Friendly staff too. Wish they had indoor seating but that's not a deal breaker at all. Great place to check out in Banff.

Superb ice cream! I have been to three different locations across Canada and have not been disappointed once. There is an option to get the cone in a cup if you'd rather eat with a spoon as well. The only thing I would not recommend are the milkshakes; not because they are bad, but because I think the ice cream and cone are too good to pass up on.

This is indeed one of the best Ice creams in Canada. They have to-go cans of ice cream that you can enjoy at home.
The store has other condiments and souvenirs that are so cute.. it could be a take away for remembrance.
Get a scoop or two and enjoy it while watching the beautiful scenery on the streets of Banff..

I love COws ice cream !! It’s definitely better in the original factory in PEI , but this place has the best ice cream in Banff !! Wait in that line . It’s worth it. Chocolate covered chips are a need to try !

Great ice cream. Shame there isn't indoor seating. Plenty of public seating outdoors, though. Service is VERY fast. The line (there always seems to be one) goes down quickly. They didn't have Nanaimo when we went, which is what I wanted to try. I don't think you can go wrong getting COWS ice cream. They also have chocolate covered crisps for sale and a cute gift shop.

I didn't understand the cows hype but in our 5 day stay we got 7 scoops of ice cream by the end.
Tons of flavours and each are a hit! Some.of them sound weird but they make it work.
If you like sorbet try the strawberry sorbet.

Second day in Banff we went to get a tub of mowie cowie and a squishmallow (Clover) then again before we leave Banff heading back home. We got the milkshake (vanilla and PEI strawberry), the milkshake is so good, I would say it's the best milkshake that I ever had. Wish they would open one in uptown Toronto, I know there is one in Niagara-on-the-Lake (2 hours drive for me to get there)

Best ice cream you can get in Banff! They have a variety of flavours and different cone options. Overall a great place, but be ready to stand in a line!
