Starbucks

I love turtles. Love them. But I also know we can have straws that aren’t paper and still save them. So when these lovely and kind ladies said they had a plastic straw for me - this Starbucks was automatic 5 stars. And of course they were all very kind and the service was quick so nothing to complain about.

I came here today to grab a drink and a few merchandise for myself and for a gift and this super pretty girl at the till who took my order went above and beyond serving me, I didn’t catch her name but she had a nice accent :) She was super patient even if it was busy and she even offered to personally wrap my mug for more security. I ordered a venti strawberry coconut drink to go on my way to work and it was absolutely delicious. This is my first time coming to this Starbucks ever since I moved to Banff and reading the 1 star reviews kinda got me worried but I payed a visit anyways, turns out things aren’t always as they seem :-). I felt very welcomed and will most definitely be coming back

1 star for allowing a some girl to interrupt service. Constantly talking to each of the 3 staff working. Making it slow and irritating customers waiting in-line, and seeing the staff take time away from customers to talk to a friend near where people pickup their drinks. Recommend teaching proper customer service. Lucky im just passing thru and won't be coming here again ever.

I moved to Banff in February and was super excited since the starbucks is right next to my workplace. The thing is this starbucks is never open and I've only been able to go one time since I've been here. I would have more chances to bus all the way to Canmore. And the only time I went, I told the girl my order and she could not get it right so I showed her my order on the app so she could copy it and still messed up my order.

Love getting my 4-shot espresso with an extra shot of heavy cream. I use to have a sweet tooth but once I got on Plexus, I lost my sweet tooth. I still love the bitter taste of Starbucks though. This joint was well organized and clean. Everyone was adhering to Covid stuff so there was a small wait time.

The coffee is strong but bitter. They do need to work on how to make a goooood coffee not just a coffee. The shop was quiet at 8 but by 9.30 a queue is out the door. The shop is spacious with tables and benches, tables outside in the freah air. Staff are efficient amd friendly understand funny accents and the coffee arrives quickly.
