If you like the ol' fashion diner experience this is the place to be. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff treated us like old friends. Shout out to our wonderful waitress Shae. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.

Restaurant is clean, service good but the food is bland and unseasoned. The veggies we got were very watery. Like they were literally just floating in water: no fat, no salt or pepper. The meatloaf topping tasted like plain tomato sauce, not savory or sweet. The lemon icebox pie is good.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The food is great. The menu has a good variety. It has been a while since I've seen liver and onions on a menu and it was really good! The service was friendly and well-timed. It has a real "hole in the wall" appeal. Really down-home. I will be back again.

The service was excellent. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was huge. I only ate about half and had to quit. The twice baked potato was just OK. The bread was very good, especially with the provided jar of honey. My overall experience was just OK. I would eat here if in the area, but would not make a special trip. Enjoy.

We were in your place on this day valentines day. I ordered ham full order. The ham was over cooked and some spots were burnt. My mash potatoes were cold and so was the gravy. Our bill was 28 dollars.my wife had the chicken steak sandwich. She said she will never order that again. Now I only ate part of my food because I am diabetic. And I the cash lady did take off 8 dollars so I payed was crashing.

(Revising my review from 3 years ago.)
Recently ordered chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was well below the quality of previous cfc orders. Additionally, the entrée and the 2 sides were extremely salty. So much so I was unable to eat the meal. Unfortunately, this has been the case the last few times I've eaten there.

The liver & onions was waaaaaay too salty but they replaced it with a steak, it was good.
The salmon was super dry but added lemon and butter and it was alright. The twice baked potatoes were almost hard had to douse with butter to eat.

The beef tips and gravy was excellent as was the twice baked potato. The waitress was very courteous and helpful. I used to not be very impressed with Dixie Diner but my opinion is improving!
