Deno's Pizza

New in town so we carried out from nearby. Pizza was good, even the GF! Server checked order to make sure all in order, & employee corrected on her own (wonderful service). This was the first state where we paid to use a credit card in a restaurant. Not mentioned online but there was notice at register instore. Wish it was stated online so we would carry enough to pay cash.

I do not know to where to begin. I’m 100% full blooded Italian, there is no better Italian food than my kitchen, handed down recipes from the old country. That being said, I grew up on real pizza, homemade meatballs to die for and a pasta sauce that takes two days to perfect. After I visited this outstanding pizza place I only wish I would have ordered a meatball sandwich. I will have to try that as that is how I judge any Italian restaurant. I am only here for the summer, however I will go back. The pizza we had was the best damn pizza I have ever had except my Nana’s or mine but I still will take a backseat to Deno’s. Do yourself a favor……if you want the real thing look no further and do not complain about the price………it was worth every penny. Joe Verdicchio

Came here with my wife, and a friend to try this for the first time. Walked in and and the atmosphere was good. Wasn’t sure what to order, but decided to 1/2 cheese 1/2 veggie wings, and garlic bread. The gentlemen that was helping was good asked, asked about things, he answered them, the wait wasn’t bad to get the bread, pizza and wings. Definitely will be back

Excellent pizza! The sauce and crust are on point. Thankfully, no sweet sauce here, folks. There is also no skimping on the toppings. The sausage is very nice...not overly spiced and the right amount of salt. The Italian beef sandwich contained a huge portion of lean and thinly sliced beef. The au jus was flavorful. The meat itself could be a bit more savory, but overall it is a delicious sandwich. They will add Sweet or hot peppers, and cheese if you wish. We will definitely return.

Tried Denos for the first time. Dined in. Great customer service, friendly staff. Was about $40 for an XL 2 topping pizza and 20 wings. The wings were absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of sauce. They were really big and had a lot of meat on them but still had a nice crisp and weren't rubbery. I really wanted to like the pizza but unfortunately it just didn't have much taste to my husband and I. The crust had a weird texture almost like it was a frozen pizza crust. The sauce had a sweetness to it which we love sweet sauce but not much flavor otherwise. I would definitely come back for the wings again and they also have other things on their menu I would love to try!
