I love this place. I live in Cedar county and will book a hotel near here,once a month or so, just to get delivery and chill for the evening watching bad movies( I can do that at home) and have China King delivered ( I can't do that at home). I'm always sure to get extra to take home!

Place looks nice and the lady has a hard time with English but she is real nice, I had chicken fried rice and it wasn't all that good the chicken seem liked it was steamed and wasn't cooked all the way and the rice didn't seem all that done either so it wasn't all that good to eat but when I asked them if I could have one with out onions they were happy to switch it out, so 3 out 5 for me they are nice and the price is good for a quick bite to eat.

Sadly disappointed in the food and the dine in experience was miserable. They had no air conditioning and it was over 90° inside.

My favorite place was Thai Palace in Ozark before trying this place. The food is always fresh, and I LOVE their egg drop soup. As far as their steamed dumplings go...best I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if it’s their ponzu sauce or what, but they are SO good. Their chicken is also super juicy, and well proportioned. I have nothing bad to say about this place :)

MSG ALERT:
For those with MSG sensitivity, regardless of how it is labeled, there is MSG in the food at China King. I hadn’t even finished my meal and the headache at the base of my skull and down my spine had started. I just spent a half hour in the bathroom purging. A warning on the website and menu would be nice.

Horrible food! Got the beef fried rice, rice was undercooked and still crunchy! Egg roll was also undercooked. Bad flavor and just overall bad chinese food. Worst I've had in Springfield. Stay away from this place, or be disappointed. I wish I could give them zero stars, waste of my money. 👎👎👎👎👎

I tried the bourbon chicken. It was excellent. Had been searching for a comparable dish for at least 2 years! It was excellent! Such big portions we shared amongst 3 people and had enough for a small lunch plate left over!! Definitely will return!
