Silver Diner

Silver dinner is a great place and a staple of Springfield. It has been their ever since I was a child. The menu has definitely improved, but the prices are a bit much for what they provide. I can see the corporation is trying to pivot their business model, but I hope they remember their roots! The dinner itself is very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly!

I came here for brunch on my birthday and I have to say I was impressed not only by the menu (I haven’t been here in years) but also by the customer service received from manager Mrs. Joyce! Unfortunately after ordering the power went out so we decided to leave. I was so disappointed because as mentioned the menu looked great. Right before pulling out of the parking lot Mrs Joyce came and found us to inform us that the power had been restored! I expressed how happy I was to hear the news being as I’m pregnant and it being my birthday. She took care of us and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back for brunch!

My boyfriend and I went to Silver Diner after a very long day, and we ordered the Bay Benedicts, the Hickory BBQ burger, the bruchetta appetizer, and the campfire milkshake. It was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed when we were there. The service was great. Wish I had room for dessert, but maybe next time. This has been my third time here, and I will be returning.

We touched down with a party of 5 on a Saturday night at around 6:30 pm. The receptionist got us seated within 5 minutes after a couple beugarted their way in front of us. We had an exceptional waiter who really took time to make recommendations and see that we had all of our needs met. The location is kid friendly. I got the liver and onions. I loved the fact that there were multiple vegetable options for the side substitute for the kid's meal for the fries. They had broccoli, sautéed spinach, a vegetable medley, to name a few. Everything was reasonably priced, and the booth was large and clean. I would visit this location again.

This is one of my favorite places to eat with family and friends. I try to eat very healthy, no artificial or highly processed ingredietns, no meat (no fish), and this place has options for everyone. The waitresses are super friendly and i use the restaurant App, so sometimes i get rewards!. I love the ambiance. They look look old diners with their music boxes on most tables. I try to remember to bring a quarter or two to play oldies. Highly recommend.

Silver Diner Springfield, VA is awesome. An all day breakfast menu may draw you into the store, but the rest of the menu will keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere of the diner is what makes it “POP.” The old fashion booth seating with jukebox selections with many of the hits from 60s, 70s and some kid friendly melodies. Just a great place to grab a bite, relax and enjoy your meal in the comfort of a time long before drive thru windows, where people take it slow and enjoy a conversation with a waiter/waitress. Check out any of the Silver Diners in the area, your taste buds will thank you!

We arrived to our hotel late evening Door Dash the Diner food was amazing. So good that the next morning we drove there for Breakfast. The atmosphere was cute, the wait staff Amazing "Valentino" was so helpful and attentive. Best Breakfast Hands down. So breakfast was so good we went back for Dinner. Again we had Valentino. DINNER WAS OUTSTANDING. The milkshakes were out of this world and the burgers had to be the best ever. The freshness of the food amazing. This place is a must EAT..

From the hostess giving us great energy at the front door, to the server being patient with our orders and going above and beyond, & to the sweet sweet manager checking on our table and ensuring our visit was up to standards, I wish I could give them 10 stars!! I had the shrimp and grits and caramel French toast and it is a definite recommendation!!! If you’re ever in Springfield, VA try them out you can’t go wrong with this location! Great menu! Great prices! We've been here many times but I felt it was about time to share my thoughts on the Silver Diner. The standout feature of this place, in addition to the (usually) upbeat service, is the remarkable variety of food options available. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or devoted carnivore, there's something here for everyone—no dietary preferences are left behind! Another thing I love is the ability to have breakfast at any hour of the day. If there was anything negative to say at all, it would be that it sometimes gets pretty loud. I recommend opting for a seat as far away from the front door and wait station as possible, as the staff sometimes does a little yelling back and forth. However, I can confidently say that I have never been disappointed with a meal here, nor have I ever had less than swift and friendly service.

Up front, I want to suggest a sign at their only entrance to direct patrons. It is not immediately apparent that there is only one side to enter. If you miss it you have to go pretty far around to get back in. I almost didn't go because of that. It was pretty busy at 7p but I was seated right away and had my meal in about 15 minutes. I tried the Hawaiian luau hamburger. It was good but very drippy. Waitress was very friendly and upbeat. They have jukeboxes on the tables but unsure if they worked as no music was playing. That could've been fun. Overall a good experience, just making some recommendations.
