Degani Bakery Cafe

The past few times I have visited the food & coffee has been shocking. Toast is not toasted (it had water in it from the ‘poached’ egg) waffles are microwaved and not even warm, coffee just taste like milk. I will not go back here until it is under new management or they want to lower their prices to suit the quality of the food being served… for now I will go to groove train

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Our waiter was fun enough to suggest a drink for me as i was undecided when we first sat down. He got it spot on. And they checked with us, after serving starters, if we were ready to have our mains cooked and served. That was a nice touch. It meant we could get our food hot at our pace. And the food quality was superb and well presented (see pic). Their garlic butter & pepper cream sauces had the perfect combination of taste temperature & quantity for the mains. And the drinks were custom made too, not just served from a bottle. Atmosphere is to my liking, not too bright, seats / table well spaced apart, not too dim. Allows for a cosy private affair yet still in a regular mass operations type restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
