You can smell the delicious food outside before you walked inside the restaurant. That caught my attention. My lunch was tasty but it was not hot. I enjoyed the hotdogs and the collard greens. The Dragonfruit cheesecake was not sweet at all to me. I will go back to try other different options of food from the menu.

I think this might be the best place for god food and great selection of craft beer anywhere in Sanford. I’ve only been here a few times, but every time I come, the food is great and the staff are always friendly. The restaurant is clean and I don’t have any complaints. I look forward to coming back next year when I’m in town again.

This place oozes atmosphere. Some friends and I walked in we were told to grab a spot and settled into a booth. From the start we could tell we could vibe here. I ordered a flight of beer because I wanted to try some local beers. Ended up splitting a charcuterie board and it was delicious! I had a brisket sandwich for dinner which could have had a little more meat but the flavor was great and meat tender. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server Bri (spell?) was great even when it seemed she was taking care of all the tables, we still got everything we needed. Even indulged in a fudge brownie sundae. I highly recommend stopping in for a great evening!

Sat on patio because we had the puppy. Every smoker in the restaurant comes to the patio smoke like a smokers lounge. Not appealing at all to eating. Waitress recommended the special of the day which was supposed to be their take on fajitas basically. Completely inedible. Meet was mostly fat and gristle. Tortillas were like bubble gum. Veggies cold.

Worse experience at a restaurant in years. I rarely review anything but I couldn't let this go without doing it. Waited over 45 minutes for a brisket sandwich. When it arrived it had brisket scraps not brisket slices, and it was only about a third of the meat you would expect. I have had brisket sandwiches elsewhere, I know what to expect. When I asked about the meat quantity, the waitress actually said that they had ran out of meat. So instead of just telling us so we could order something else the tried to spread the spoon fulls of scraps over two sandwiches. So after we combined the "brisket" and made half a sandwich, the waitress finally brought us a small plate of pork so we had something to put on the rest of the bare bread we had left. We asked to speak to a manager, the waitress said it was the bartender. We watched them talk several times while looking in our direction but he would not come to speak with us. So after 30 mimuted I got tired of waiting.. Contrary to what he said when we finally approached him at the bar, it was not that busy. He would only say that he was not the manager, he had no control over what the kitchen sent out, he was only a bartender. I have had better food and certainly better service from my local McDonald's.

Waited 45 minutes for our meal. Two of us ordered brisket sandwiches. When they arrived, neither had much meat. In fact, neither even had a single slice of brisket. Instead, they both had a very small amount of scrap parts from the brisket. We were told that they were out of brisket, so it was shocking that they even served this. We asked to speak to a manager. Half an hour later we asked the bar tender to explain why they served the sandwiches knowing they were out of brisket. He advised he was not the manager and that no manager was working. His attitude only made the situation more aggravating. When my bill arrived, I was charged full price even though my sandwich had less than an ounce of scrap brisket (see photo, which does not depict the ends of the bread which had no meat). I would comment on the food but didn’t taste enough to make an accurate assessment.

Overall the experience was hit and miss. I had the brisket plate and it was very fatty and felt like it was more of a roast, and to be honest I was expecting smoked brisket. My buddy had a BLT and it was pretty bad. It barely had any bacon (two tiny pieces). However we also had a burger and that was great. So, overall a 3 out of 5.

We ate here early Friday evening. The service was good. Fast, friendly and accurate. That's the main. reason for the 2nd star. The food we ordered was average too terrible. The Ruben sandwich and sides were ok, nothing special. The brisket was very fatty and the bark was so hard it couldn't be cut with a knife. It also had very little flavor. If a restaurant has brisket on the menu that is what I usually order. This is possibly the worst brisket I've ever had. I won't be eating here again.
