I used the Too Good To Go App and picked up my $6 meal around 10pm. When I saw what was given to me I was in shock. I had two platters and a can of soda. The lady working was so nice. She asked me if I like pork. Yes I LOVE pernil lol. She even apologized saying it would be dry which it was a bit, but I knew it would since it was late at night. She added extra sauce from the beans to offset it. She gave me hot sauce without me having to ask. Was a very pleasant experience. Their food is good and its great quanity & quality for the price. Unfortunately due the language barrier i got robbed because i asked for a family meal .in addition the family meal i asked for a large container of beans , a container small of stew chicken and because i asked for that they said it wasnt the familymeal and charged me everything separately. I was willing the pay the price difference but what they did this time i cant get passed it. I saw them cut up the chicken and put all my stuff together when i went home the chicken wasnt in the bag. I had to go back and ask for it . They said once again i didnt get the family meal so they didnt put the chicken in the bag. All this because i got an additional large side of beans and stew chicken. From all the back and forth even though i paid them already $60 i had to pay an additional $20 for the chciken because the lady kept insisting i didnt get the family meal . I didnt pay for the chicken 😔 i had my family waiting so i told them can i just get the chicken they said i have to pay for it which i Already did. After this i reccomend if you ever order a family meal . Order it first , pay for it and then put in another order for what you want additionaly.

I went there for a homemade soup called "Sancocho" and it was a total disappointment except for the white rice which had to be purchased separately...the soup lacked the rich seasoned broth which defines it.The prices are inconsistant...and if you question the amounts on the receipt your are responded to in a less than "the customer is allways right " tone.This is my second encounter as the first was just as unpleasant in a different way .I will not be returning.. sorry There will not be a 3rd time.
