10/10. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that is to die for. The gigli al pesto e pollo was amazing as well as the carbonara fries. The bartender miranda was super friendly and attentive, this place is a must if visiting Providence, or for a reliable place after work for drinks and phenomenal food. The cocktail menu is one of a kind, I wish I could’ve tried them all.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was disappointing. Although the food is authentic, for the price, the food was extremely underwhelming along with small portions. We went on a Thursday night and went around 6:30, and it was dead, maybe 3 tables in the restaurant. We heard staff saying how slow it was that night so it didn't seem typical. However even with very few patrons the service was very slow. The menu is also pretty small although that is most likely a by product of the current global situation.Overall very underwhelming.

Will definitely be back. The guest were either very dressed up or super casual, the vibe was great. Will be back again. Got apps, entrees, desert, shots and drinks. Loved everything.

Mind. Blown. These ladies are in the kitchen killing it! It’s the first time we’ve ever seen a kitchen full of women. I learned they locally source as much as possible & the taste is proof for sure. The quality & flavor of all the food is extraordinary. If you go, definitely try the cheese & salumi plate and the short rib osso bucco. Ask for a extra side of the grilled spring onions so you have more to go w/each bite of the polenta. Finish with the upside down pineapple dessert while sipping on a Lavender Espresso Martini or their espresso doppio. My better half felt their espresso was the best he’s had in the states, tasting very authentic to what you’d find in Italy where he lived for 2.5 yrs at one time. Although I’ve read reviews from others on different platforms commenting that they find Sarto’s menu to be limited, I’m thinking the reviewer doesn’t understand at all what goes into each of the chef’s offerings, which is a massively creative and beautifully presented dish. This takes time and I thoroughly appreciate their dedication to providing an ample menu of scrumptious selections that are all perfectly plated when presented rather than throwing out good food in lot quantities. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Food was good, service was great. What ruined the experience was seeing how rude and disrespectful the couple next to us was to various members of the staff. The restaurant is close quarters, so nearly impossible to ignore. At this stage in the game, when every person in a service position is doing the best they can under circumstances, if you can't be kind, please just stay home.

So wanted to love this restaurant, but alas. While the design and ambience are wonderful, the food was incredibly disappointing. The chicken was flavorless and extremely overcooked and dry. Haven't had such poor chicken in a fine dining restaurant in ages. The pasta with oxtail ragu was far too al dente, and the ragu itself just OK. The charcuterie plate was incredibly skimpy for the price and the meats not even stellar. Was pretty shocked at how mediocre everything we had was. Most disappointing meal I've had in a long time, maybe because I was expecting so much more based on other reviews.
