Papa Johns Pizza

They have the worst customer service. The store closes at 11pm. I placed an order at 10 pm, then I received a call from the driver at 10:20 telling me that is too late and that he was going to come to my house only if we give him a tip. I said yes but I did not like the way he requested a tip because we pay a delivery fee. When he came to my house, I gave him 1 dollar tip ( I usually give them around 3 to 5 dollars tip but as I did not like the way he called asking for tip I only gave him 1.) The driver told me “ if I would know that you were going to give me one dollar, I wouldn’t come. It is too late and Papa Johns only gives me .50 cents when you pay the fee.” After I received my delivery, and I closed the door, he knocked the door to tell me that he can sign the paper bill if I want so that he can get more tip. But multiple times he was telling me if I have more money. This is a poor customer service, when the driver arrives to my house, the driver is the only person who represents Papa Jonhs and this behavior is unacceptable. I have been a Papa Jonhs customer for 5 years and this is a second time that I am very disappointed with their drivers. Also, they never bring the extras sauces that I pay for, and calling them for the sauces is something that waste time but I am considering to do. If you do not like the salary that the company pays you, you should get another job. Very disappointed!!!!

A few weeks ago, my friends and I ordered a pizza at approximately 8:30PM. For delivery, it would be 1 hour, which is fine. At 10PM, our food had not arrived, but the website said it was out for delivery at 9:30PM. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I asked the manager if he had an estimated time of arrival since I only live 5 minutes away from the store. His exact words of pure professionalism were "nah bro". Never have I thought that a manager would exemplify professionalism as such (please take note of the sarcasm). At 11PM, I got a call from another star professional of this establishment who said verbatim "yo, your pizza's here". I'm gonna go to a different papa John's to order food since clearly, management and it's fine employees have been trained to speak to the public as such. Would I recommend this place? Nah bro

Had the most amazing experience at this establishment. the staff were extremely hardworking and cooperative. The skinny brown boy complemented my designer shirt and the Spanish guy put extra chicken on my papadias on the house. Safe to say I won’t be eating at any other pizza establishment besides this. I hate to be rude and give a low review because this place is always spot on for me. But they did forgot my pizza the first time and only gave me the cheesesticks and wings, but honest mistake and the delivery man came back with the pizza and apologized for the inconvenience. Great service! Just some little mistakes.

I ordered a cheese pizza with pineapples and found meat (ham) in my pizza. This is the second time this has happened at the same store location on state street in Perth Amboy, NJ. I have special religious diet restrictions and i don't eat pork and both times pork was found in the pizza and all the manager can do is apologize. this is not acceptable. This is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly. The manager never does anything. How does pork end up in a pineapple cheese pizza? How do you make the same mistake twice to the same people? Sounds like maybe a lawyer needs to be involved .

Ordered two 2 topping pizzas, one with pepperoni that they didnt even put on at all, and the rest of the toppings were very scarce it was mostly cheese. Not to mention I paid an extra 3 dollars for 3 cheeses on one pizza and they didnt even add it even though I paid for it. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the food was still pretty good. Never ordering here again tho. You're welcome whoever I tipped 🙄

Terrible service from Papa John's employees. (Perth Amboy location) Everytime I order from this location it's always a problem. I gave them to many chances, Today just put the topping on the cake. Having delivery drivers argue with me. 🤯 Today around 530p I placed an online order for 2 pies. At 6:20p a lady from this location called me. (Supposably the manager) to advise that cops were blocking a road and she was un aware how long the driver will take to get to me. I asked where exactly was the driver because I can guide them to my house by side streets. She refused to answer and stated "well I can't do nothing" "do you want your order" (1 hour & 20 mins) Because of this response I told her I do not want cold food she can have her driver turn around and cancel the order. 15 mins later I get a call from the delivery driver arguing with me because he was down the street and I need to not cancel. I do not appreciate aggressiveness from this location's employees. I called the location to advise them and the "manager" seemed to not care and asked again "if I wanted the pizza " . Are you kidding! The Lack of management skills at its finest!! I will never again order from here.
