Koko Bakery

I’ve lived 2 mins away from this bakery for almost two years and never got to try their baked products! I’ve always seen a huge line outside their store and I assumed they must be pretty good and I finally got to try their apple pie and buttered rolls this thanksgiving. They were both absolutely delicious and all my guests loved it. The pie would just melt in your mouth and buttered rolls were so soft. The apple pie box had detailed instructions for storing and reheating, and I really appreciated that. The people who were in line with me were telling me about their awesome pastries and breads, so I’ll definitely be coming back here more often.

It was a first time to visit KOKO and buy Japanese bread ! I love all items I bought here and I will be a regular coming from Cambridge for sure! It’s worth it! I got a rich bread, a curry bread, a red bean bread, a blueberry danish, a chocolate croissant, and Mochi(a red bean). Those are delectable, authentic, flavorful, and those textures are just amazing! I feel all ingredients are so fresh as well!

The pastries are so good! You have to wait in line because only one group is allowed inside at a time but the wait is worth it! The blueberry Danish was great! Nice and crisp pastry. The creme brulee toast was interesting. A bit sweet for my taste but still good. The chocolate croissant was also amazing

What a wonderful bakery and such amazing sweets. I was fortunate enough to try some of their best sweets and I have to say that every single one was better than the previous one! I know for a fact that the owner/baker puts lots of effort and love into her creations and she has done very well! I am officially a fan of their bakery and highly recommend this place.

I get a cup of cappuccino in this bakery almost each morning. The stuff is so friendly you cannot imagine. They always have a line of customers, and all this customers are regular customers. Also, they have one feature - samples of deserts. During the day they cut for small pieces different tasty thing they make and give it to try for free. It’s cool since you can try something and buy it right away. The place itself is very small, but it is a bakery shop, not a coffee shop. Just grab and go. Instead of deserts they make a lot of kinds of bread. I never tried them but I’ve seen a lot of customers get it. I have just one concern - why do you work just from Wednesday to Saturday! I so miss you on other days!! P.S. - they have an amazing chocolate croissant and blueberry scone! I recommend t for everyone!

Today was their 4 year anniversary, I almost never wait in line for anything, but Koko is one place that is worth the wait. People were standing in the rain for the baked goods today. Almost everything is great. I am not a huge of fan of items that are too sweet. My favorites are red bean bun ( best I have ever had), chocolate croissant, curry beef role, and the bacon onion role. I am so lucky Koko is 5 minutes away!

This bakery is worth finding because of the deliciousness they make there! The eggnog doughnut (seasonal item) and the Valrhona chocolate doughnut are incredibly good, and the chocolate cupcake got a thumbs up from our 5-year-old. They offer sandwiches, pastries, and lunch specials in addition to gluten-free dessert options; and some traditional Japanese pastries too. My favorite is the coconut crisp cookie with chocolate in the middle - soooooo gooooood! Look forward to future visits!
