Captain D's

I placed a GrubHub order last night when I got my order the sides and hush puppies had been left off. I called to let them know and I noticed the time and they were closed. So, I hung up with the intention of calling the next day. However, Carolyn called me back because she said that she remembered the name and number. I was really impressed that she called me back after hours! I consider that going above and beyond her job description. She was very kind and apologetic. She told me if I came in the next day that she would replace my sides. She was so kind and apologetic that it made me feel like she really cared about customer service. Thank you Carolyn! I don't know if you will see this but hopefully you will and be recognized for your service. Far too many people are not nice or caring these days. I thought that the pandemic would have made people nicer but it seems that just the opposite is happening.

I have always loved Captain D's for as long as I can remember. It's not better than my Granddaddy's, but it'll definitely suffice. The staff is very polite. My only problem with this location is they never seem to be staffed enough. They even have a sign up stating they're "Now Hiring". God Bless them. They need more employees. The food is good, but no one should have to wait that long.
