One of the best places in Monroeville and a real hidden gem in the state. The menu isn’t large, but what they do make, they make well. Steaks are the main attraction here, but the burger and the shrimp and grits are even better.
It’s really neat inside with all exposed brick and an actual full-service bar. Can’t recommend it enough.

I planned a trip to Monroeville, including a place to eat. Based on reviews and the menu, I was excited to eat here. The waitress was kind and accommodating, but the food was less than disappointing. I had a grilled chicken salad and the chicken was hard on the outside and was lukewarm. My daughter had mac and cheese and the grease was visible on the top. My husband had wings and they were delicious. Perhaps the staff was having a bad day, but I believe Atticus, Jem, and Scout would have preferred Calpurnia's cooking.

Great food! My husband ate here after a hard day's work out in the heat. He could not say enough good things about the salad he ate and how friendly the owner/chef is.

Great fish tacos (too much to eat in one sitting). Great atmosphere to relax for a meal with friends. Owner an wait staff very personable. Will come again.

Stopped by for lunch last week, had the chicken wings and order of fries some sweet tea, food was great service great the manager Patrick was very nice too. Recommend stopping by for a good meal.

Outstanding. Great little bar/ restaurant in downtown Monroeville. Order the grouper bites appetizer and the bread pudding! Very good. Will be back

Stopped by for drinks ~ first time in Monroeville that I was able to order a glass of wine!!! Cool place. Will be back to try the food.

First it's not a steakhouse as advertised. I wanted steak and was told it was no longer on the menu. The food was not good. Very disappointed !
