One of the best places in Monroeville and a real hidden gem in the state. The menu isn’t large, but what they do make, they make well. Steaks are the main attraction here, but the burger and the shrimp and grits are even better. It’s really neat inside with all exposed brick and an actual full-service bar. Can’t recommend it enough.

I planned a trip to Monroeville, including a place to eat. Based on reviews and the menu, I was excited to eat here. The waitress was kind and accommodating, but the food was less than disappointing. I had a grilled chicken salad and the chicken was hard on the outside and was lukewarm. My daughter had mac and cheese and the grease was visible on the top. My husband had wings and they were delicious. Perhaps the staff was having a bad day, but I believe Atticus, Jem, and Scout would have preferred Calpurnia's cooking.
