Our food took forever (over an hour) to be served. All we ordered were a burger and a salmon sandwich. Server didn't check on us until I got up and walked over to ask where our food was. Nice place, once the food was served it was delish, but will never come back due to the service.

The smash burger was honestly the best burger I’ve ever had. We also got the seasonal fiddlehead soup which was delicious. Great view of the lake and garden if you sit outside. 10/10

We spent 8 days in MAINE. First 3 in Bar Harbor. The rest at Baxter. This restaurant was the best food of our whole trip ! Hand down! We went two nights in a row. We enjoyed every morsel. The service was great and the local staff were so kind and welcoming. They chatted with us about our climb on the mountain. We felt like we belonged there. Was such an awesome experience ! Highly recommend it !

This place is tucked in the woods and you have to drive some gravel roads to get there but it is well worth it. Best food in town. The food was great (fish stew and a burger), atmosphere was woods and rustic, and the staff was nice. Due to covid we were basically the only ones in there and it was super awesome. Great place!

I love this place. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is visiting Baxter State Park or Maine. I am sure we will be back again with my company. I think the chef knows the balance of taste. And my server, Brittney, was doing excellent for us.
