Gill's Grounds

First time trying a drink from Gills Grounds and let me tell ya, I'll definitely be back for more!!!! The young girl that was working there this morning was super pleasant and very patient! I got a double shot with caramel sauce and white chocolate over ice and let me just say if you like a strong shot of espresso that doesn't taste burnt(not naming anyone but there is a well known coffee chain that has those characteristics 😉 lol) this is the place for you! Pleasantly surprised at how good there espresso is! They also have what they call a "white espresso", it's a lighter roast. So many different choices, they also have energy drink, and I believe they do have other drinks that are non caffeinated too.

Really great coffee and smoothies. Pumpkin maple iced latte was phenomenal! My husband loved his caramel macchiato and my daughter's pear apricot smoothie was blended nice and smooth and was delicious. Chocolate chip cookie was huge and very tasty. I was a little disappointed my coupon from localflavor.com was not accepted but happy to support a local business and enjoy amazing coffee! Will be back for sure!

I just tried their coffee for the first time today and not only did it taste great but the service was awesome! The menu had what seemed like everything....so I asked what he would suggest for someone who drinks 4 shots of espresso daily. He suggested the dead eye...great suggestion! I will definitely be back. I usually go to Dutch Bros but I think I've found my new spot! Especially since it seems to be family owned.... I'd rather give my money to them than a corporately owned place ☺️

So glad I discovered this little spot! Gill's might be one of my new favorite coffee joints. Gill himself (or Chris? Not sure which is his real name ) is SO kind. The nicest human being you could ever want to make your coffee. The menu is large with tons of fun options. Not only are the basic espresso and lattes delicious, but Gill's goes above and beyond to offer creative drink choices. My husband got an Apple Cider & Red Bull. Not exactly my cup of tea (or coffee) but he LOVED it. They have spicy lemonades, iced teas, fruity Red Bull concoctions, and all of your favorite espresso and drip coffee drinks. There was also a seasonal cranberry bar with homemade whipped cream, which we obviously had to try. I had a SF vanilla latte and my friend ordered The Motivator, a GIANT 6 shot latte. She said it was well worth the money! I think we will be making Gill's a weekly stop!

My boyfriend and I discovered this place about two months ago. We live literally within walking distance (well when it’s not Summer). We always drove past and I kept seeing it and decided to look it up. The menu is large and they can customize it the way you want it. From sugar free, dairy free, to adding tons & tons of different flavor combos. They just added a new Oatly Milk product. It’s dairy free and made from oats. We tried it this morning and love it. I’m pregnant and when the time comes to breastfeed, I’ve heard oats is helpful for milk production. So I’m going to be adding the oat milk into my coffees from now on. The customer service is excellent! The coffees all taste so good! Not watery like Starbucks. I like what Gill’s Ground stands for, VETERANS! If you can, I highly recommend you support this small business. I hope more locations can open up eventually to serve other parts of the valley (for the people who won’t travel to power rd). It’s that worth it!!! Ask for their rewards punch card, we’ve scored several free drinks already. They are open 7 days a week. Go try it now!
