The food was amazing. The coroner service was even better. They were so nice and personable. Some of the best catfish in the city if you ask me. I would definitely return. The location could be better but there is a location in Midtown that is bigger. 9.3/10 after me and the wife did our own rating system lol.

I can't help but sing the praises of The Blue Monkey downtown – I’ve been going here decades! The ambiance is super easygoing and relaxed with a steady flow of people and you can tell they've got a dedicated crowd of regulars who love this place, and I can see why. The food is consistently excellent, and the quality is something you can rely on. Their salmon Caesar salad will knock your socks off - the best ever! I’m addicted!!! The flavors and textures are a party on your taste buds. Now, let's talk about that salmon itself. The cuts are amazing, the salad is crispy and fresh, a match made in food heaven. But what really seals the deal for me is their salad dressing – no matter which one you choose, it's simply the best. I get the Caesar or blue cheese. The Blue Monkey has won me over with their fantastic food and the kind of consistency that's hard to come by. It's a spot I return to time and time again. It’s a staple in Memphis!

Lol... it smelled good, so I started eating before I took the picture. I had the blackened grilled chicken with wild rice, and it was so good from a rustic standpoint. But look, let me tell you, lol... whoever broke the cook's heart, please give him a chance to explain because he sang every r&b song that he could think of.🤣🤣🤣
