Nice little family restaurant. The owners are very pleasant. Food was good with large portions. Clean establishment. Super fast service. Drinks are self serve. Prices are fair for the quality of food. They have a few fresh baked treat options which is nice as well. We will definitely be going back again.

For the type of restaurant, absolutely great. Deservedly well know for their peameal and over-easy with home fries breakfast combo but lots of variations and far more than breakfast. Soups and lunches are also very good, Central European style. Decor is low end and seating is partly benches but very high degree of cleanliness everywhere including restrooms. Recommended.

Great mom and pop shop. The couple that runs it is so adorable. I order takeout since I live across the street, but they always offer complimentary coffee while I wait. The home fries are really yummy and if you order the bacon and egg breakfast they give you like half a pack of bacon! Portions are huge, but as you may expect from a diner, it’s greasy. I wouldn’t eat here too often.

Great owners and delicious food. I've eaten at a lot of places around Waterloo and this is probably my favourite breakfast place.
Homefries are actually like a kind of hash which is quite tasty. If you hate fast food or diner food you probably won't find it as enjoyable, but if you like big portion comfort food this is the place.
Apparently this place can get busy, but Friday morning at 8 was really chill for the first hour.
