Suda

Every time I go to Suda I can't wait to come back! Started with one of their specialty cocktails, an order of crispy rice, and their house-made buns. Sushi is fresh, flavorful and light. Make sure to try either their truffle sake or any specialty sashimi. Fun, laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite & drink or a full dinner! Incredible service and knowledgeable staff.

I went into grab a quick ice cream. They have a walk-in ice cream counter, btw. The person at the counter was very welcoming and had a wonderful personality. She let me taste all of the flavors before buying. The ice cream itself was good. It could have been a bit more sweet for my liking, but may that's how it's supposed to be. Also, they swirl the ice cream instead of scooping if you are into it.

This was absolutely the funnest dining experience we have ever had. Allow me to explain. You can order off the menu and it will be a wonderful experience, guaranteed. However, I recommended you throw all abandon to the wind and order the Emperor's ****** (sorry but I can't remember what it is called, LoL). Essentially, it is a blind tasting of whatever the kitchen sends out, to include drinks should you choose that addition; and it keeps coming until you tap out. It is WELL worth the price (two of us spent $340 before the tip). The food was phenomenal, the service was EXCEPTIONAL, and we had a blast...and I had a 28lb food baby. Not knowing what we were eating next added a certain intrigue to our meal. Our favorite was the ramen. That is saying something since that was our final course OUT OF TEN, prior to dessert which made eleven, and we were already stuffed. Not one bad dish at Suda, just varying degrees of goodness. If you find yourself in Jackson, WY be sure to make a reservation at Suda and prepare to have the best Japanese cuisine this side if Tokyo (and yes...I've eaten in Tokyo).

BRAVO. My fiancé and I traveled from Florida to Jackson and spent a week here. Our already amazing trip was enhanced significantly when we wandered into SUDA. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was great. The food was impeccable. I believe I tried nearly all of the menu over two nights (we went back to back for dinner). A5. Gyoza. Rolls. THE. BEST. FRIED. RICE. I have ever eaten. 10/10. Will be back again and I pray this place never closes. -D
