Chippy Joe

I recently moved to Honiton, I have enjoyed fish & chips from Chippy Joe's 3 or 4 times now & have always been delighted with the quality & size of the portions. I moved from Hertfordshire where you would pay at least 50% more for a much smaller portion. I have always found the staff to be polite, helpful & friendly despite how busy they are. May I suggest the lady that wanted "Chicken Nuggets" trys McDonald's. Chippy Joe's is a Traditional fish & chip shop & in my opinion a Bloody Good One !

If you like traditional fish and chips, freshly cooked and huge portion, which gives you value for money, then this is the best chippie around. Thats the good side now the negative, a queue is likely as it it is quite popular, and when it rains you are going to get wet waiting outside as the shop service area is small. Looking online for opening times and a contact telephone number is lacking. Disabled access is not good as there are steps in and out of the shop and the doorways are narrow, however the staff are so welcoming and helpful they would do their best to assist.
