The Circular

We came here for a birthday pre-celebration while we were touring the Gettysburg/Harrisburg/Lancaster area in Pennsylvania. Since we didn't have reservation and so we were seated on the side of the room and so couldn't enjoy the good view of the garden that this restaurant is famous for. My salmon was so good that I think it's the best I've ever tasted. The lamb was just OK. We got complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries for our birthday. And at the end more complimentary chocolate said to be from their founder. And kudos to the staff there as I left my sun glasses there and they took it to the hotel front desk. Later when we went back to the restaurant, they sent it over from the front desk to the restaurant to give it back to me. So nice of them.

The best experience ever !! Douglas (manager), Nate, Mike & Mason were all so amazing! I can’t even explain how great our time was and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend. We had 5 kids and 4 adults. They were so welcoming. I can’t thank you all enough for the best night and the best welcome ever to Hershey !!!!

Excellent food, nice setting. Service was very slow (2.5 hours to get through four courses) which is not unexpected at nicer restaurants but we waited over 30 minutes just to pay! Atmosphere hurt some by nearby table with four young kids all using mobile devices with volume cranked. Not the restaurant's fault but sort of ruined the experience. Will be back and hoping for a better time.

Breakfast is amazing. All of the items on the buffet are very good. I had a an omlette cooked to order, bourbon glazed ham, and roasted red potatoes. Two highlights for me were the cheese blintzes and the chocolate bread pudding; texture is perfect and it's not too sweet. Add a drizzle of the vanilla sauce, fresh whipped cream, and some strawberries and you will be in heaven.
