Ray's Place

Fun local pub with good food, great beer & karaoke Saturday nights. Has a neat all glass room at one end and a well decorated and covered outdoor area. The staff is friendly, helpful & provide good service. The chicken wings are big and tasty. The menu has the regular pub fare and several quality beers on tap. Downside is I feel the price points are a bit higher then they should be and I leave feeling I paid a bit too much, and, I remember in the past the wings being just as big but better tasting. Would be enjoyable to have a larger selection of beers on tap in addition to the great beers already availiable. Overall a great local place to kick back, unwind & have a great time!

The wings were well prepared, not chincey tips but good wings that weren't excessively watery-meaty. I liked them a lot Jalepeño poppers were a good quantity for the order. Great vantage points of t.v.'s from all spots except a few. Ray's is worthy of being recommended and does not qualify for the overused term 'dive-bar'. It is a great local bar.

Ray's is a classic neighbourhood sports bar. I visited on a Saturday night and 3 hockey games were being screened at once; it was bustling but not crazy. I kept my order simple with 15 wings and a pint of Coors Banquet. The wings were excellent and the beer was cold. My server was very friendly and attentive and I enjoyed the atmosphere.
