A business that has lasted here for over 40 years, for good reason. My single favorite sub shop in the city. Fresh subs, made by good people. I can highly recommend

I always love coming here. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest. The subs are always made right and absolutely delicious. This company never tried to cut corners with their quality. If you ate here 20 years ago, it is the EXACT same.

Not all Mikes are the same. Be sure to visit Mikes on Fennel and Ottawa for the best quality. All other Mikes are garbage

I used to come to this place all of the time for my sub and unfortunately this time I had a bad experience. The first half of the sub tasted fine but the second half just tasted awfully of smoke. Due to this, I don't think I'll be back any time soon. Other than that, they do have great prices and combos.

Another one of those places I grew up on. I went to this one from time to time in high school but mostly frequented the one on Upper Gage. I was visiting Hamilton and had a craving. The reviews for Upper Gage weren’t too great so I came here.
Awesome! The young lady who served me was pleasant and efficient. The sub was just like I remembered and hands down beats Subway. A simple sub with great sub oil is absolutely awesome.

Loved going here but it has changed. Went there July 7,2021. Bought 5 subs and she was rushing putting the stuff on trying to do them all at once. That they had no taste she didn’t put mayo on half of them asked for bacon strips got the simulated ones. The amount of lettuce that went on them you could of made 5 more subs. Looks like this family will stick to subway.. 🥲

The subs here are very tasty and are served fresh. This is an old school type of sub place and do not have a wide assortment of toppings. The portions are reasonable and the price is great.
The place is owned by an older lady who is always very friendly and great to deal with. I have been coming here for a few years now.
