Applebee's

I wish other restaurants around here would have as good customer service as this place. I got a prime rib dip from them to go and when I got home noticed the dip was not in the box so I called them and the person who answered the phone immediately offered to remake the entire thing and throw in some extras for free with no hassling and no fighting and no jumping through hoops. It was quite a relief to find a business that is non-confrontational when they messed something up.

Pro - walked in when there were hardly busy. Was told by fat boy behind the bar to sit where ever I like. Girl came & took my drink order & promptly brought it out. However, she couldn't take food orders & said waiter would be with me shortly. Con - About 5 minutes after I arrive another couple comes in & sits in the table in front of me. Girl helps them, no problem so far. Well it takes fat boy about 10 minutes to greet the other couple & take their order & he never takes mine. I know he saw me. I gave him a few more minutes & it was obvious that he was oblivious to me being there. So I left. I will never go there again. Terrible, lacking service.

My wife and I came in and were told it would be a 30-minute wait. No problem. An hour goes by and there are 7 available, cleaned off tables that had been empty for about 20-25 minutes. Someone else comes in and gets told its an hour and 45 minute wait. My question is, why didn’t we at least get seated after waiting for over an hour, when we were told it would only be 30 minutes?

Tatayanna was one of my helpers. She was insanely rude and honestly if I also didn't work for tips too I wouldn't have tipped her. I've never had such a horrible experience there. Make sure if you go there to make sure it's not her because I shouldn't have to feel like a burden just for asking for refills and you rolling your eyes.

Extremely short staffed, was told by the gentleman at the host station that there was a 20-30 minute wait. He took no names down of anyone that walked in, and just seemed to be waiting for people to get bored and leave. We left after waiting the 30 minutes of waiting. Might try again in the future.
