Sonic Drive-in

Went through drive threw ordered everything was great we got all the food we ordered (4 mealsfor 4 people) got to the window, still going great... ask for ketchup. Told there was ketchup barbecue sauce and mints in the bag for us. Pulled off to see we had 3 ketchup and 1 BBQ sauce packet. When my husband asked for more ketchup EVERYTHING WAS STILL FINE... until she brought him one single packet of BBQ sauce locked the door and turned away. He asked for ketchup packets. She handed him one single packet of BBQ sauce.

Came today for lunch at around 1:30. The girl at the window (Vicky I believe?) is an absolute sweetheart. Waited for around 5-10 minutes and she apologized right away for the long wait (no problem to me!), said there’s only 2 of them working at the moment. She still had a great attitude even tho I’m sure she was extremely stressed. A bit ridiculous for a company to expect 2 of them to run the place, especially during lunchtime. I’ve worked fast food and I know how stressful it can be even when one person doesn’t show up. Props to these 2, they deserve better compensation

Top of burger bun was soggy and falling apart. Tots fall apart into crumbs. Popcorn chicken mostly batter and salt, not much chicken. Young man who took my order screwed up my order. I asked specifically for a sundae with a cherry on top and they forgot the sundae altogether, and when I reminded them, they forgot the cherry! Waited for like 15 minutes for food. This place SUCKS. Don't bother.

I used the app and the pull in areas were closed. I had to use the drive thru when told to pull up the window help did not know my order. and my cheese fries were upside down in the bag all the fries went to one corner and stuck to the bag and container. also I frkt the fries were under cooked and slightly still raw or soft, could have been crisper.

Worst experience here. Usually it’s good food, but not today. We pulled into the carhop ordering area instead of the drive-thru thinking it was a good idea, yeah no. After we ordered, the guy came out and came to our car but then said “wait” and turned around and went back in without a word. We waited 30-40 minutes until we got tired of waiting and pressed the call button, but no answer. So we pressed it again after 10 minutes of waiting and they finally answered. We complained that our food wasn’t out yet and he checked and said “oh sorry, bringing it out now” and brought it out. He handed our food and drinks to us and the slushee we ordered had no cherries like we ordered, the food was cold, the burrito with just egg we had ordered had cheese added on it, there was no marinara in the bag for our cheese sticks, and there wasn’t everything they were supposed to put on the philly cheese steak sandwich. We complained about the slushee and asked for cherries in a cup, he apologized and said it was just him and one other person working tonight which is crazy. They should’ve closed the carhop if there was only 2 workers, because there was a lot of customers. He brought out the cherries and it was a cup with cherries covered in ice, which we never asked for the ice but we shrugged it off. All I’m saying is we probably won’t be coming here for a very long time

I've only been to 3 Maryland sonics. Hagerstown and Ellicott City Sonics were excellent. Frederick is definitely not up to standards. #1 I did not like the employee attitude when I placed my orders (it took a lot of my energy not to respond negatively. The food was not hot but lukewarm. This is my second visit to that Frederick Sonic and both times I wasted my money.

Only the drive through is open, the person taking our order screamed at my wife because she asked for her burger with mayonnaise and no mustard. Then when we got to the window after waiting in line to order and to get to the window to get our food, they had not put out order in. I will not be returning to the sonic in Frederick MD at buckeystown and Guilford.
