Mountain View Diner

Very pleased with our visit. Not the best veiw of the mountains, but it is a fairly cheap cute diner. The decorations are amazing and made me so ecstatic to see. Valentines decor everywhere; it really shows how much care they put into decorating and atmosphere. The food was great, real homemade fries, wonderful kind waitress and workers. If I lived closer or up to visit I will visit again.

This restaurant was a welcome change to the ordinary chain type places. The food was good for the most part, prices were reasonable and the service was good. I rated 4 stars because two things I noticed were that the brown gravy and iced tea both lacked flavor in my opinion. It was a decent breakfast, just a little costly due to one fact; the French toast with sausage, menu price of $8.95, does not apply to a sausage patty; French toast with a single sausage patty is $11.90, frankly way overpriced for a single patty. If the waiter had mentioned the price hike [he did not] I would have skipped. Coffee was decent brew, not too weak or too strong, and the French toast itself was good, as was the traditional egg platter my wife got. So overall a 3 is fair; had to deduct 1 for the sausage pricing 🤣

I have been here once before and my mother goes here often. This visit was disgusting! My mother was eating cottage cheese and she saw something black in it. At first she thought it was pepper but long and behold when I looked closer it was a baby roach 🤮🤢. The manager came over and took her meal off our tab but the idea of my mother eating baby roaches is disgusting! I had to pull over and throw up with that idea in my head. If there are babies their are eggs and I just wonder how many people have ate them. If you look closely to the picture you will see it!

Food outstanding...Shepherds pie...large beef noodle soup...fries with gravy... The Bakava was the best ever...the honey I was told is from Western Maryland Apariry....go there for a diner out of The 50s....Can't wait to go back.... Dessert cheesecakes in multiple favors...cream pies....fruit pie....diner food. Comfort take your family
