Pollo Pollo

Fairly new place, I work at the mall and get lunch here time to time. Their Lomo Saltado is 10/10, it's TASTY AS HELL. The regular Peruvian Chicken is 8/10, had better but for being located at a mall it won't disappoint. The food takes awhile to come out on the weekend depending on traffic, nothing crazy. The employees are very nice as well. Oh and another thing I love about Pollo Pollo, extra yellow and green sauce is complimentary!!! That's definitely a first for traditional Peruvian Chicken restaurants. One of the biggest cons about their service, whether it is busy or not, their Lomo or Pollo saltados take too long to come out.

Went here twice. The chicken is good but Nando's is better. Not worth checking out. The second time I had a cheesesteak. The menu board shows a nice looking toasted brioche sub but in really you get a chewy sub bun. Steak isn't flavorful and not much cheese. Bad value, $12 for a simple cheesesteak and fries. That's really the fault of Fair Oaks Mall charging insane rent prices for a failing Mall.

Order the Lomo Saltado, through their online ordering system for lunch time. Food was delicious! There is about a 2 dollar difference if your order online versus calling in. I dont know if they list the reason for the upcharge. But I suggest you either go in person and order to go or maybe call ahead. Definitely won't be ordering online for that upcharge, and also careful that they auto include a tip for themselves on top of the upcharge for the online menu. Ordered my food for 1235 at 1150 they didn't have it ready until 1245. If you are pressed for time like a lunch break, I'd suggest another place.

2 stars because the staff was nice and the side salad was... well, a side salad and I had no complaints about the lettuce, tomatoes, or cucumbers. The flavor of the chicken wasn't tasty at all! I know that each place that serves rotisserie chicken is a little different from one to the next but I didn't enjoy this even a little bit. The yucca was worse! It was dried out and hard to bite through, I literally ate a half of 1. I also love getting white sauce from Peruvian chicken places and I asked for extra here... yuck! The flavor wasn't disgusting alone but I didn't care for it, it also didn't look good as it wasn't smooth and instead had a gritty looking texture to it. I won't ever stop here again.

This was our first time eating at pollo pollo, we ordered half a chicken for two people. When we got our order it was it was 1/4. when we told the cashier he told us that we had ordered 1/4 when in reality we said half a chicken. Told us that his line was long and didn’t have the time to fix our order. That next time we ordered to make sure we knew what we wanted! His attitude was really nasty towards us.
