Local spot for great ice cream 🍦. The staff (I believe the son) of the family / owners gave us awesome recommendations and fun stories! You better understand the serving size because they are not joking here! I couldn’t even finish a small! Lol. Highly recommend!!!

The best ice cream I ever have!! Banana split is my favorite so far! Really creamy and tasty ice cream. You can ask for free samples. Really awesome staffing. Definitely coming back!

Excellent ice cream or frozen custard! Fast, friendly service! The strawberry shortcake is enough to share for 2! But so good if you want to eat it all yourself!

The sweetest guy ever! A father and son run the place and the son was extremely kind and friendly I can't even explain how happy and chill and comfortable I felt, just great ppl all around! Not to mention how amazing the shake was! This place is amazing pls check them out b4 they close for the season!

Had the small banana custard malt. Absolutely delicious. The small was plenty filling. Quite big, actually. Can't imagine what the large looks like! My date had the black raspberry malt. She loved it. Nice nostalgic trip to get a cool summer treat.

Definitely a place to go if you like frozen custard. Been in Des Moines for a very long time It is a little known local favorite They have all kinds of frozen custards and toppings. You can mix and put them into. This place is always packed so make sure you get in for an early treat right before or after lunch cuz dinner time is nuts but it's worth it

A friend told us about this place for getting frozen custard and I'm so glad she did. It was AMAZING! The staff were quick and friendly! They had a great selection whether you want it in a cup, as a sundae, and many choices for milkshakes!
I ordered peach and cookies 'n cream in a cup, got so much more than I expected! Tasted so good! I highly recommend stopping here!
