The pizza was great and so was the Cincinnati Reds decor. But what I really went there for was Cincinnati Chili. And it did not disappoint! I had a 3-Way, which is a base of spaghetti, topped with chili and cheese. I requested a half order so I would have room to try the pizza.
No dice. I had one small taste of pizza just to say I did and ate on that Cincinnati Chili bowl until I could go no further. And I ate the rest of it the following morning. They load you up!
Cincinnati Chili is more than how the dish is presented. It includes both cocoa powder and cinnamon in the recipe, and I don't know what else. Sounds out of place, but it is soooo right.
So if you can't make it to Cincinnati for some chili, get over to Angelo's Pizza! You can thank me later.
