Denny's

Came in the early evening and it wasn’t full at all. The waitress was attentive and the food was good. Just like the pictures. The menu seemed to get smaller but the basics are there. I got the All American breakfast ($12.95) and I thought it would come with pancakes but it doesn’t. My daughter got the grand slam jr and it was good and around $4-5. The picture is of the two dishes mine on the left and hers on the right. I stole on of her little pancakes and that is why you see it on my plate. Overall it was very clean and classic Denny’s. Not a 5 star but a great diner!

Had orange juice and a veggie omelette at 10:30pm. Something to be said about having breakfast for dinner, that too so late in the night. Our server was friendly and prompt. The omelette and hash browns were delicious. The coffee (and refills) hit the spot. The ambiance needs a little updating and there was a not so pleasant smell when we first walked in. But I am very sensitive to smells and other people in my party didn’t notice it. I just appreciate a place staying open that late so we could have a sit down meal that late on a weeknight.

This is 100% much better Denny's than the one in National City, I drove all the way here from the other because of their horrible service. The staff here is very pleasant and the service was great. Even though this place is further than the other one from my home, I will drive here from now on. The food was just like I ordered it, I asked for crispy hash brown and they came out exactly how I love them. ❤️

Stop in for breakfast before heading to the Del Mar Fair. Esmeralda was a great waitress. There was eight of us and she had a lot of patients with our kids when taking their order. I also appreciated that she kept checking in on us if we needed anything. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Hats off to Denny's, America's Restaurant. It was a 40 minute wait on this Veteran's Day. Many vets, wearing service T-shirts & hats, were here for their FREE breakfast, a long-held tradition at Denny's of honoring Veterans. Two eggs, sausage, bacon & pancakes; like a warm hug from America! Thank you Denny's! Military & Sr discounts daily!

After 2000+ (and counting!) late night food delivery trips in the greater San Diego area, my opinion is that this Denny’s is the best around. Not only for food delivery, but as a customer, I love coming here! The atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and consistently so, night after night. The food is hot and flavorful, and the waitstaff even moreso. Shout out to night crew Victor & Jazmine, who go about business with a practiced efficiency and capable calm. Love this place, always will!
