Friendly welcome and service. Nice, well presented food. Toasted sandwich was slightly too greasy for me but food was good value and freshly made.

Popped in for £10 lunch deal. Great value well presented by the chef (ribs and fish and chips). Wonderful service from the young barman. From what we experienced today I recommend for an inexpensive weekday lunch on the Bath Rd.

Went to the brown jug for sunday lunch and the football, the best roast i have ever had in my life!! I became full and did not want to stop eating i dont know how they do it but if you are looking for a roast dinner this is the place. Also i recommend ordering the pork crackling and the pigs in blankets as my god it was incredible

These lovely guys n gals serve the best roast I have had in years with excellent and professional service.
I am thoroughly impressed and I will be back.

We went for Sunday lunch for. 65th Birthday there were 14 in our party, everyone was happy with their meal which was well presented, hot and a great selection of vegetables. The service was spot on. We definitely will be back and most definitely will be recommending it. Thank you again for a lovely meal. Lynne Holder
